Metal Line Poles
Metal Line Poles driven vertically into the ground and parallel to one another, at the distances provided initially by the project, define the direction of the rows and serve for: arranging the wire network, supporting the weight of the wires and vines, repairing the damages during the dormant season of the vine.
Line posts (SINT) made of 1.5 mm thick formed galvanized steel sheets, and provided in each unit with passageways (“Autolock” type in "H" form or "Z" form) for the wires, represent the frame on which the actual tension of the wires is made.
There are three types of line posts available whith the dimensions:
-
35 x 46 x 1.5 mm;
-
35 x 58 x 1.5 mm;
-
41 x 58 x 1.5 mm.
The trajectory and uniformity of the rows is established by driving the line posts at distances (500 - 600 cm) and depths (50 - 70 cm) according to the designed levels. The distance between the rows (180 – 250 cm) varies depending on the vine cultivar and climate conditions.
